As a business owner, your work falls into three different categories, and knowing the difference is a leadership skill.

Things you must do alone:

Vision, values, and final decisions can’t be outsourced.

You can gather advice, but ownership of direction and consequences is yours.

Things for which you may or may not need others:

Operations, marketing, sales, systems.

You can do these yourself, but the real question is:

Is this the best use of your time right now?

Things that absolutely require others:

Scaling, sustainability, new markets, and long-term growth.

Some outcomes are simply impossible alone.

Here’s the tension most founders feel:

Do too much yourself → you stall

Delegate what only you can do → you drift

Misjudge the middle → you burn out

Clarity, not hustle, is the advantage.
